Alinea customer portal

The request:
The client wanted a complete review of their online presence, with updated functionalities for their customer portal, where existing users can buy and/or check their purchased digital products.

The solution:
Using the domains module, we created a Drupal platform that allows 6 different shops to connect to a single customer portal, each with its specific URL.
ustom rules were built so that every piece of content (products, articles, basic pages, etc) can be published and be viewable on a single or multiple domains based on the content editor choice.

In order to build beautiful pages in short amount of time, we created a custom system where there are no extra coding required (no back-end and no front-end development required) by using blocks that can be combined in any way the content manager desires. These blocks support both text content as well as media content (videos and images). Each block is highly configurable, being able to add background colors and images, to create new content inside them or re-using content blocks that we have already created.

We have also created a customer portal section where the user can update his account, redirect link to external services like Facebook and Google, view his account status, view his previous orders and view access to his digital products.

The other particularity is the custom user behaviour system, that tracks user interaction with the site and records this value in order to make recommendations on products that he might be interested, based also on his user preferences.

The project is still ongoing, so we are constantly bringing improvements.
