Drupal Camp Cluj-Napoca 2015

The request

The client wanted a mobile app for an IT event, Drupal Camp Cluj-Napoca 2015, scheduled this spring. The main idea was that the mobile app supported the same functionalities as the website, where the schedule, the speakers, the event’s location are presented.  

Titanium solution

The app has four main tabs:

• daily schedule of the event - the user can get a quick overview of the entire schedule of the event sorted by the chronological order of the presentations;
• speakers tab - all speakers have a profile which shows all their presentations. This can be used when the user wants to choose a specific presentation;
• venue tab - a specific tab with google maps integration, where the user can see the exact location of the event. The user can also get the exact address and the route to it.
• info tab - details about the event are displayed on this tab, such as a small description, sponsors. You can also visit the event’s facebook and twitter page.

The app works on both Android and iOS and it can be used without an Internet connection.
